Harold Dull

Harold Dull is the the creator of Watsu®, Tantsu® and the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Registry which stores the transcripts of students around the world. Harold trained with the creator of Zen Shiatsu in Japan, Shizuto Masunaga, and the teachers who brought Zen Shiatsu to America, Reuho Yamada and Wataru Ohashi. The profundity and effectiveness of the bodywork forms he has created reflect his passionate practice and deep understanding of energy and the body; the creativity of these forms reflects his background as a poet in the San Francisco Renaissance. His three Watsu books, a new Tantsu book and a collection of his poetry as well as several of his DVDs are available. Harold speaks several languages, which helps him teach his work all over the world. He has been awarded by Water Fitness and Aquatic Therapy associations. Once he completed developing the forms needed in clinics and spas around the world, Harold turned his attention to developing complementary paths that can make Watsu and Tantsu's potential for connection and the creative engagement of our life force universally available, a new humanism in which everybody can float or hold each other without intention.

Mary Seamster

Mary, in the late 70's, began her life long exploration of the correlation between mind, body and spirit. In her Water classes she incorporates her years of study in: martial arts, massage, energetic healing, Hakomi practice, group dynamics, and in the last 10 years, Pre and Perinatal Psychology. She has completed a two year land based Prenatal Training with Ray Castellino DC well as David Sawyer’s water based Integrative Aquatic Therapy. Mary's life ambition is to never stop learning; she finished her two year study of Biodynamic Cranial Sacral with Anna and John Chitty. She has been teaching Watsu® these last 9 years in private settings as well as in hospitals and PT pools. Students comment on her: passion for the work, attention to detail, body mechanics, warmth and sense of humor. When you come to her class expect plenty of personal attention.

Feedback from students who have taken this class taught by Harold Dull:

09/02/2016 ... The opportunity to work with Cameron and Harold was amazing. There are always new things to learn and as an Auditor of the class, I was able to understand and clarify points I may have missed in other classes
07/06/2015 ... Incredible class.
07/05/2015 ... Cameron West is an amazing teacher. I highly recommend taking classes with her.
02/12/2015 ... Wonderful course that allowed to understand the principles o Watsu. And also a deep journey into Self. I could recommend it to those who love to give and are ready to receive.
07/17/2014 ... Do it! Do it at Sierraville Hot Springs if possible.
04/25/2014 ... Very good course and wonderful experience on the whole. There were some technical difficulties which were unavoidable. Teachers dealt with this appropriately. Sometimes I felt the energy flow of the course could've been better. Sometimes seem to drag on. Needed more energizing activities whether they be only 5 mins or so ie. quick activities that are physical and teach something (trust, team building, awareness). Sharing moments were nice however again, they tended to drag on. With 24 people, it's not necessary that everyone shares every time. There was a lot of repeating of the same experiences.

Good foundational learning that has provided a good start to my career as a Watsu provider. Thank you!
05/03/2013 ... Really good course, I totally recommend taking it.
03/04/2013 ... I would recommend the course 100% since Harold is a very nice and special instructor who has an amazing capability to teach every move and the patience to go through all of them as many times as necessary making sure that everyone is doing fine. Besides, the course itself is a great opportunity to grow personally and help others.
