Au public:
I have nearly 30 years experience in healing practices of which aquatic bodywork is my favorite for its art and depth.
From March 2014 to March 2017, I established the aqua department of a wellness retreat in India and offered aquatic bodywork and aqua movement to staying guests as part of a customized itinerary that included many other wellness offerings.
My authorizations from WABR include:
1998 Watsu Practitioner 2000 Waterdance Practitioner 2000 Watsu Therapist
I have also taken classes in Healing Dance, Jahara, Prenatal Journey and incorporate techniques and approaches from all these and many other healing skills in my own practice.
A practice I offer to groups and find valuable for personal strengthening is Ai Chi (licensed trainer with Ai Chi International).
I am committed to practicing and sharing the aquatic healing arts with the highest possible integrity and intent to serve. Water is a living thing and caring for it is of the utmost importance.
After completing my degrees (BSc, MPhil) in the UK, my early career was in scientific and medical publishing.
Interest in alternative health led me to train in and practice a variety of healing, massage and movement disciplines.
From 1998 to 2000, I was spa manager and senior therapist, specializing in aquatic work, for a 5-star hotel in Bath, UK.
I relocated to the US and practiced privately in Laguna Beach, California. From 2002 to 2007 I established and ran an aquatic retreat center in the Missouri Ozarks.
I spent several subsequent years as a freelance practitioner providing a spa-retreat consultancy service with a special focus on water-based therapies.
